Makbule Kosif Replied Our Questions!

 

We are in the interview with Makbule Kosif, the writer of the doctors, the Love Story, the Heartbeat, all of whom you all know well.Before the interview began, I would like to thank him for agreeing not to break up and interview me, and to answer my questions among all the crowds without a night’s sleep.

GİZEM:Hello Makbule Hanım!

Would you introduce yourself to those who do not know you? Who is Makbule Kosif?

MAKBULE KOSİF:I am a Black Sea girl born in Rize in 1969. I grew up in Istanbul I read Cinema Television in Eskişehir and since 1992 I work in the television industry.

GİZEM:

Everyone has a dream of an occupation while you’re younger.

MAKBULE KOSİF:

I do not remember if there was a professional fellow but I always loved the cinema. Scriptwriting is merely a combination of my experiences and talents.

GİZEM:

How did your adventure of scripting begin

MAKBULE KOSİF:

A writing that starts with text writing, and the most complicated, most confusing target board scriptwriting of the adventure of television. We are the worst things that do not cost much, but go on the screen. We can be guilty of even the self-employed who are not dressed in the clothes or the sets we are not wearing.

GİZEM:

Mostly you are writing love sequences … What is love for Makbule Kosif?

MAKBULE KOSİF:

I do not go out of my way to write love sequences, but this is the sine qua non of every drama. I think that Ali Asaf is not the brain but the work of the brain, but that’s why I love writing it.

GİZEM:

You wrote Doctors, a six-year long screen journey …. Do you have difficulties writing a doctor’s chart?

MAKBULE KOSİF:Then I write a very difficult kind of medical drama when I write. When we look at the examples in the world, we are trying to tell a story which is difficult even in the course of time for 120 minutes, at the same time to attract the audience and to set the hospital cases. I do not even count the blood that is required by television rules or a brain surgery that will be very intriguing. I did not know the exact meaning of the term here, so I used it the same way. I think it’s a blur.

GİZEM:

The doctors emphasized the importance of saving lives, as well as attracting attention to sweet love, excitement … Do you have any contribution to your love ratings?

MAKBULE KOSİF:

Love has everything to all of us. Certainly there is a high effect on the share of viewing.

GİZEM:

You are often coming out with adaptation sequences. Is there a reason for this?

MAKBULE KOSİF:

I did not go out in particular to adapt, but my admiration for Korean cinema brought the process of making Korean kings. But my admiration for the characters created before anything else is my biggest influence.

GİZEM:

What was your favorite scene as a writer of  (a Love Story)?

MAKBULE KOSİF:

Korkut Ali was a wounded character. The pain was love, everything was real. I saw the original version and the version we created on our own in tears. I met her mother in the kitchen and said nothing to her and I could never forget the scene she wanted me to cook.

GİZEM:You have to create a new character in every new job. What are you paying attention to when you are doing this? What is the difference between Korkut Ali and my question Korkut Ali? (Writer Korkut Ali is wondering about his character

MAKBULE KOSİF:Character creation is the most challenging but most enjoyable process. The character on paper starts to suffer and fall in love after a while. I think this is the most magical moment of your writing. Korkut Ali had known that he would walk in the end of the suffering and die in the final.

GİZEM:

Love Laftan Do not Understand and Cherry After you join the Seasonal series, you have difficulties joining the projects later

MAKBULE KOSİF:

Sometimes you do not keep touching things that you join later but we worked with wonderful teams in Love Laftan Anlamaz and Kiraz Mevsim

GİZEM:

You have taken your friendship with Eda Tezcan together to write a script … How did Makbule Kosif and Eda Tezcan friendship start? How did you decide to write together?

MAKBULE KOSİF:Then we came together for a project with Eda and it did not work. But our friendship is still going on. Together with our author

GİZEM:Are you a star of a directory or a player?

MAKBULE KOSİF:

One of the most important legs of a job is the story and the actress. But there are so many things you can not count on. It would be wrong to bind one. With popular definitions “Chemistry” comes at the beginning of the story, with the actor’s partner and the actor’s partner …

GİZEM:

Heartbeat got a good start in the summer … What do you think of this output?

MAKBULE KOSİF:He liked a character we were not accustomed to in the Heart Shadow screens, a fighting, very intelligent but life-battered girl. We can also say that the success is crowned with the love of male character.

GİZEM:The story of Heartbeat is so firmly established that a solid cast member has been chosen so that even the side characters have found a fan base … What do you depend on?

MAKBULE KOSİF:Aside from the beauty of the side characters, I love the games that help me enter each episode

GİZEM:There are so many opposing corners in your stories … We saw this in Love Story more and more … When it all said that it is over, it actually starts again. Is this a tactic to attract spectators in the series?

MAKBULE KOSİF:he reverse angles are a fun way of saying “Let’s play a game come on, come on boys” to consolidate our independence with the audience.

GİZEM:When you write a script, you type the characters according to the player or you want the players to enter that character

MAKBULE KOSİF:We are just writing our story. The players then wear those roles and it suits some of them. Like Gökhan and Story

GİZEM:

Which environment are you most likely to write scripts for?

MAKBULE KOSİF:We write so long sequences that we can naturally write in any medium.

GİZEM:How do you follow the way to make the screen accept the audience?

MAKBULE KOSİF:We are proposing that the villagers share a good story, and thankfully they often attend this event.

GİZEM:

We have a big fan of fan heads and cherries … What do you think about their love for you …

MAKBULE KOSİF:

Fan Heads and cherries were also unprecedented fan pieces. I’ve known people who can be my friends, and I am very happy about it.
